TinkerCAD is a free web based 3D printing design tool.  It’s made by AutoDesk a historic powerhouse in CAD software.  This is great news for classrooms looking for solid 3D CAD app for use in STEM or STEAM curriculum.  Chromebooks also have a web app available inside the web store.  TinkerCAD is fully functional with the ability to export your models to .STL file format for 3D printing.  Do you have a 3D Printer and want to start making your own designs from scratch?  Be sure to watch my video and consider TinkerCAD.

Works with:

  • Windows via Web
  • Mac via Web
  • Chromebook via App
